2021.11.27 18:13 Wecamefromcum If God hates evil, then why does pain seem essential for us to have a meaningful existence?
I’m not a practicing Christian or anything. I am just wondering about this necessary human condition though, because it seems that without struggle then we would eventually get bored of things. By that I mean, not having problems to attend to. Now I can’t help but think that God would continually shake things up the best way for us for eternity. I just don’t know why he couldn’t only give us the ability to be forever curious about things that are good. Why introduce evil when there are other ways to peak our curiosity?

2021.11.27 18:13 taubut Switch for Xfinity Gigabit Pro 3gbps fiber?
I’m looking for switch recommendations. Something that I can use to take full advantage of my new 3gbps symmetrical fiber speeds I’m having installed from Xfinity within the next few weeks. I really wanted to go with Ubiquiti but their Dream Machine Pro is always out of stock. I’ll want to take full advantage of my speeds for my PC and my Plex server and then run 1gbps speeds everywhere else using either ethernet runs where I can around my house and wireless anywhere else’s.
Any recommendations would be great please! At the moment I don’t envision using a mass amount of ethernet ports, so something smallish would be nice but I’m open to suggestions. I’d like to keep the switch under $500 if possible.
Thanks for any help!

2021.11.27 18:13 Rylandolf Why do I get mad losing to bad players?
It always happens when I queue up for experimental and I find some random gold/silver player that manages to unintentionally hit things he never meant to hit by having basic elementary movement whilst using heavy's like light attacks and its the sheer amount of simpleness that makes me overthink and then let them get hits for free. And it's to the point where they can actually win games off of me, where I cant help but feel like doubting my ability in the game and feel ridiculously mad in the moment and rage-queue as a result. Why do I lose to players like this and how to deal with the enraging feeling of losing to them when it feels like they didn't deserve it at all?

2021.11.27 18:13 wespoint7 AirPods Pro static after replacing them 4 times
I’ve taken me AirPods Pro in on three occasions due to static in noise cancelling mode and each time they have failed the audio diagnostic and been replaced. Yet each successive replacement has had the exact same issue. Is there anything I can do other than keep going back to Apple and getting them replaced.

2021.11.27 18:13 FaithlessnessLumpy16 Was a larger/more upgraded home worth it?
I posted recently on this board about being able to afford a 500-600 thousand mortgage, which most people said my family is in the position to pull off. We have looked at a few houses we really like, but when it comes time for an offer I start to second guess things and panic. We are currently paying $600 monthly on our mortgage (I paid it off aggressively for a few years and recently reamortized to 20 years to focus on investing in our TFSAs and kids RESP) and when the reality hits that we're going to be paying $40k to a realtor plus all other moving fees and then ~$3000 monthly mortgage payments for the next 20 years I freak out and back out of it. It's led to a number of conflicts with my partner over the last few months, which I know has been because of me. I just can't make up my mind - a nicer house sounds great, but I don't know if sacrificing the financial freedom, vacations and memories we could make, and setting up our kids for post secondary education will feel worth it 20 years from now. I am really worried about following through with this and then living in regret. We live in 3 bedroom, 1900 square foot house with finished basement, 3 kids, so not as if we are running out of space. For anyone that did move and put more $ to their house, was it worth it in the long run for you?
